The Road Ahead in 2025-2026 for State Legislatures
In 2024, the RSLC’s strategic early investment strategy was crucial in our success to combat the nearly $175 million in national outside liberal spending that led to maintaining our GOP majorities nationwide, flipping the Michigan House breaking the Democrat trifecta in Minnesota while gaining seats in predominantly blue states like California, New York, Massachusetts and Vermont. Republicans currently control 57 of the 99 state legislatures across the country and gained three new supermajorities at the end of the 2024 election year.
